Ambulance crash leaves two injured

A serious crash on the A40 saw two pedestrians critically injured. An ambulance car, which had been responding to an emergency in Cheltenham, hit two men aged 30 and 32. The men had been on the road near GCHQ at 00:20 on Sunday when they were hit by a rapid-response car. The paramedic that was driving the ambulance car was “shaken but uninjured”, according to police. A two-year-old girl has died and a woman has suffered serious injuries after the pair were discovered unconscious on a street in Bradford yesterday. West Yorkshire Police are urging people to come forward with any available information. The couple were found on Delamere Street behind a property on Tuesday morning. Both were in a critical condition and were taken immediately to hospital: the 2-year-old girl died shortly after reaching the hospital.
